Mobile Jazz Summer Concert 2019 – Lake Harriet Bandshell

Our Mobile Jazz Summer Concert Series hosted a fun concert at the beautiful Lake Harriet Bandshell on June 22nd. International Reggae All-Stars started the evening and the Ernest Bisong Group finished with a soulful violin full band showcase. Each year we are excited to bring music, unity, and creative education to the park. Our concerts are to not only pay tribute to the American art of Jazz music, but to remember the history that became a part of this timestamp of unity, struggle, courage, and achievement. Jazz Musicians were one of the pioneers of unity and common focus in a world of separation and competitive bias. Our goal through free summer concerts is to unite community, show unconditional support, and love for the history of people in this country who believed in each other.

We would like to thank our partners Minneapolis Park and Recreation, St. Paul Parks and Recreation, Saint Paul Public Schools, and The Saint Paul and Minnesota Foundations.
