Twin Cities Mobile Jazz Project is currently active with its Mobile Jazz Workshop and Park Studios at two recreation centers in St. Paul.
Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mentors/instructors teach Singing, Songwriting, Production, Recording, and Dance in a top quality Recording Studio at Dayton’s Bluff Recreation Center. Studios are provided through the partnership of Twin Cities Mobile Jazz Project and St. Paul Parks and Recreation. And have been custom built by Grammy Award Winning producer Andre Fischer.
Each piece of technology, microphone, studio interface, and monitor has been selected for the goal of providing students the best quality of studio support available.
This program is offered free to children 12 to 18 years old. And serves as a safe space with education and mentorship. Students can practice writing, recording, production, and performance. And the recording studios are equipped with the latest recording and production technology, microphones, and instruments.
Every Monday and Wednesday the program is also open at the El Rio Vista Recreation Center and accepting signups.
Twin Cities Mobile Jazz Project is on schedule to add more Workshops and Park Studios in 2019. They have even developed a portable Blue Box Studio set to roll into a park very soon.
Twin Cities Mobile Jazz Project is a non-profit in the Twin Cities active with free concerts, after-school programs, summer school programs, and free park studios.
